Ok, After watching music videos for an hour and half today I decided I'm really sick of this new female teenybopper Britney Spearsesque trend! Ugh! They all have cheesy songs, colorful videos, whiny voices, the patented "I know you want me" pout, blond hair extensions, dance number in a parking lot in their videos and the obligatory cute boy (and I swear its the same guy in every
video). First there's Britney Spears who was the first one in a while, so she gets credit there, but then factoring in my intense hatred for her, she stinks (for lack of a better word) along with the rest of them. Then theres Christina Aga-whatever who wears less and less clothing every time she's one TV (and none of it matches mind you). She comes out right after Britney, her songs are dumb. Then Jessica Simpson, who's "I want to love you
forever" sounds like she's dying from an unknown illness and whining into a microphone. I can't stand it. Last but not least, this newcomer Mandy Moore (what a name) and her single "candy" which includes my favorite lyric of ALL time "I'm missing you like candy". Shouldn't there be a stupid lyric censor to get rid of things like that so we don't have to be subjected to it? Please, I get physically ill!
The boy bands also fit this pattern, but at least there cute : )
And, the positive music video info I learned today is, Kid Rock has a great new song out and the Foo Fighter's new video kicks.
