Enough? Okay. Rumor has it that Angel's return will be a source of friction with everyone. As I said above, that's a bit of a duh, but here's a question: assuming that Buffy is okay with the return, who among the gang is going to have the biggest problem with his return? Xander "president of the 'We Hate Angel' club" Harris? Willow "I don't seem to bear a grudge" Rosenberg? Rupert "You murdered my girlfriend" Giles? Cordelia "What does this have to do with me" Chase?
My choice? Joyce "huh?" Summers! Though she has demonstrated a cluelessness of truly epic proportions, if she has not managed to totally repress the events of Becoming, she is going to be aware of Buffy's slaying activities and will presumably be keeping a somewhat closer eye on her daughter (okay, that's a big presumption, but I'll give her the benefit of the doubt).
She took it poorly when she thought Angel was a college boy. Think of how she'll react if Buffy once again takes up with her 200+ year old undead boyfriend. Someone I suspect the phrase "He's a WHAT?" will be said repeatedly. After that fun has been played out, we will then have the fun of watching Buffy try to explain that he has his soul back and so is no longer the homicidal psycho who terrified her in Passion. Somehow, I suspect that Mother Summers will be less than convinced (on the plus side, Joyce could rest easy in the knowledge that Buffy won't be, ah, uh, you know, with her boyfriend)
