Dontcha just hate cliff hangers?!?!
NEW DAY: Friday Jan 8. The last NSYNC concert (here anyway.)
We woke up early and went to Starbucks, we needed some strong caffiene for the events that were going on. We drove back into Hollywood and parked across the street from the busses, 1 was gone!!! We sat there all morning waiting and watching. Nothing(and damn was it boring, we even got so bored we would have settled for seeing Lance!!). It was then 2 and we had to hightail it over to the Glendale Galleria to try and win backstage passes (oh and I guess we would need tickets too!!) from KIIS FM (a radio station in LA).
Need I say that we had no luck there either!!! (except we got to see this 18 yr. old guy decked out in NSYNC gear, how I wish I had brought my camera!!) On top of not winning tix we also had to sit through B*Bitched er B*Witched who were doing a free show (I think the word FREE says it all right there!!) NEVER AGAIN!!!! (I guess NSYNC felt so bad for us that we didn't get to see B*Witched on NSYNC's first tour they decided to book them again for the tour we had tix to. LUCKY US!!!) Tired, and depressed,(did we mention that we both had MAJOR headaches....hmm wonder why?!) we drove back to the busses, this time 2 more had vanished!!! (Yeah, as if the day weren't going bad enough already!!!) This was not happening!! With our luck the bus that was still there would be Brittney Spears!!! We waited there a little longer, and finally decided to drive up to Universal City Walk to check things out, again no luck!! The only people who were allowed in were people for the Meet N Greet. But hey we did get to see the cast from Boy Meets World!!
So we hung around till after the show and they were having a signing/afterparty thing at the Country Starr Resturant on the City Walk. It ended up you had to be 18 to get in. Lucky for us!!! Things were finally starting to go our way!! (or so we thought) We got to see NSYNC with people 18 & up, which us being the naive girls, we are thought that would mean they would be more mature!! Hah lemme tell you age really does mean nothing!!! While waiting outside we saw Val, who confirmed that indeed you could go in if you were 18+ and had valid ID, and informed us that Lauren was already inside. We returned the favor by telling her that we knew where the goods were staying and gave her directions. After chatting with Val for a while we decided to go in!! (I never realized what brave people we were before that night!!)
Oh did you say you did hate cliffhangers? Sorry!!!
