7th Car - 1973 Mercedes 280c. A really cool car that ran great, just too boaty for me (I was 21). Traded it in 4 months later. I saw the guy who sold it to me in the supermarket, he was upset that I had gotten rid of it. I also remember that the interior leaked.

8th Car - I traded the Mercedes in on this BMW 2002. It was a '73 (smog year) but had really nice paint, wheels, and interior. I installed a ceramic header and an Alpine deck. Shortly after that the motor went and I was frustrated enough to finally get a new vehicle. The dealer gave me 1,500 for it.

9th Car - I had been looking at Dakotas for a while, and I had test driven one in '94. The V6 was plenty fast for the size of the truck, I just couldn't bring myself to spend 12 grand on one (that's cheap now!). When the 2002 refused to start one morning, I decided to go check them out. I ended up dropping the BMW off at the dealer around midnight so they wouldn't see the smoke. This was a great truck, I even used it to move into my new place - unfortunately the high rent forced me to trade it in on something cheaper. I miss that truck. NEXT PAGE
