"I broke my thumb onstage before. It was an open-air festival in Germany. It was outside and it was really hot and they were spraying the kids with water, with this big hose, and they got some on the stage. There's a move where we slide across the floor in 'Tearin' Up My Heart', and I slid on the water and my feet came out from under me. My first reaction was to throw my hands down to try to catch myself --- and my thumb broke. Luckily, it was the last song of our set. I just held the mike in my left hand the whole time."

"I busted pretty hard skating when we were in Sweden and that was embarrassing. I was flying down these steps and the guy that was at the bottom taking my picture just wouldn't get out of the way."

"When I was younger, I was backing out of a movie theater door and I had popcorn in my hand. I walked backwards and fell and all the popcorn fell on top of me. Everybody started laughing at me. It was pretty funny. I was about 12 or 13."

"I guess my most embarrassing and scariest happened at the same time when me and Joey went to Cancun. We went to a bullfight...So I get out there and this bull comes running at me and hits me right in the stomach and he passes me like 7 times! He kept getting caught in my cape. It was very, very scary. I got bruised up and he got tired..."
