Make Believe
Make Believe starts out to be,
Exactly the way I want others to see me.
I play a part that I don't feel,
I get caught up in it and then it seems real.
Pretty soon I'm doing it without even thinking,
It has become a part of the way that I'm speaking.
How can this make believe be real,
Unless life to me is just what I feel.
Is all of life really real,
Or just make believe for me to feel?
