James Deschenes, your typical too cool for words man on the bass. His influences include Flea, Les Claypool, Victor Wooten, Tony Levin, Brian Richie, Eric Young and Bootsy Collins. James spends his time stuffing his face on french fries and nachos, and commuting between the beach and 7-11. Otherwise he just sits on his ass and plays the bass all day (how else did you think he got so good?) When asked what his future plans were, he replied "When Chapter Nine has Ten Gold albums and 20 Grammy's, I plan to hit Galaxy with some sweet honeys."
And yes, he bears more than a passing resemblance to the cartoon character Doug Funny.
