This is Mike Force One's Rules page. Anything that has to do with Air Soft is answered here. Air soft is a sport that was created for safe play.

air-soft gun It uses soft plastic BB's in a motorized, cauk & fire, or gas blow back weapon. Usually, the gun looks realistic, acts realistic, and weighs about the same. So, it should be handled like any other weapon in public. It should be stored and locked in a case, or rifle bag, IT SHOULD NOT BE BROUGHT OUT IN A PUBLIC PLACE. If it is brought out it should be in the comfort of your own home, or on the playing field.

RULES:

The moment the player determines that he is “OUT” he immediately screams “OUT” raising his gun and/or his hand(s) over his head and proceeds to the Come Alive Zone. On the way to the Come Alive Zone every 3-4 steps the player calls “OUT” loudly. The player is not allowed to talk to anyone or gesture to anyone. Upon arrival at the Come Alive Zone the player waits 10 minutes (or any time limit as set by the Game Master) and then the player may return to game play.

Hit Rule

It is called the “HIT” rule because of the occasional non-felt BB hit; the shooting player must call immediately to the player being hit: “HIT, HIT, HIT” describing which player and where that player was hit.

It is dishonorable and subject to disqualification for any player that calls a “HIT” and has not hit the targeted player. The “HIT” player without debate must call “OUT.”

The “BANG” rule

No player may shoot any opponent that is less than 15 feet from that player. The shooting player with a loaded gun aimed with a clean shot at the targeted player must call “BANG, BANG, BANG” to score the “OUT.” Should there be a face off of two or more players the one calling “BANG, BANG, BANG” first wins and the other player is “OUT.”

It is dishonorable and subject to disqualification for any player using offensive and/or abusive language to or about any other player. This type of a problem can escalate into physical violence.

The Game Master has all final rulings on disputes and rule modifications or changes.

Disqualification may include any of the following: A 200 BB fine awarded to the player that calls the offender on the foul or abrasive language rule (this can be done with out the Game Master), time out (10 to 15 minutes) penalty, sit out the rest of the game penalty, or the player may be banned from future games.

It is very tempting upon arrival to the Come Alive Zone to tell “war stories” about how you shot someone (get back into play for your team’s sake) and they did not go “OUT” or how they kept shooting you even when you called “OUT.” Many Game Masters have noticed that up to 90% of these complaints are nothing more than a little bruised ego. Should you feel that someone is not playing fairly, at break time ask the Game Master to go over for everyone’s sake the rule that seems to be at question. It is wise that no one mention any individual that is breaking the rule(s) unless there is a obvious violator that everyone agrees needs the rules explained or even penalized as stated above in the Game Masters final ruling section.

No alcohol or controlled substances (drugs) allowed in the Airsoft area.

All guns are to be chronographed at sub 400 feet per second.

Before starting each new game the Game Master should ask openly to all the players present “Is there any rule that needs clarification?” When in doubt do it any way!

The following are options to the game that may inhance the realism in play. Our club uses a few of these optional rules and has done so for many years:

MODIFIED MILITARY AIRSOFT RULES

Required for the Modified Military Airsoft rules: one of the following, red shop rag or 4 twelve-inch stripes of surveying tape tied together. Also one should have a wristwatch.

Any player that is shot “OUT” of play does so by the following conditions:

By one none-ricochet BB hitting any portion of the body from the end of the clavicle (where the collarbone meets the shoulder) in toward the body.

Head and trunk from the crotch line up including all direct in line to body equipment and/or gun, front and back. Or two hits on any extremity immediately.

BB’s hitting equipment and/or the gun not in line with the body do not count. At the moment of impact the player screams, “OUT, OUT, OUT!” Then falls dead (Hollywood style preferred)! Once the player is on the ground the player pulls out the red rag (or handkerchief, or tape stripes) and waves it for one minute to show that the player is “OUT.”

Then the player gets up calling loudly as the player walks to the Come Alive Zone every 3-4 steps: “OUT, OUT, OUT!”

Upon arrival to the Come Alive Zone the player waits ten minutes (or the time limit set by the Game Master) before returning to the game.

Medic rule

Should the player be hit outside the kill zone on an extremity by one non-ricochet BB, that player must call “Medic” as a matter of reference, for himself and other players because a second hit on an extremity during any portion of the game will equal a “OUT!”

Stun rule

(Optional) Any “Medic” calls as above causes the hit player a fifteen-second non-movement penalty. A player receiving such a hit while moving in the open must stop and act out the wound with the “Medic” call. Fellow players may drag or assist the movement of the wounded player to safe cover.

Silencer rule

(Optional) If the player has a silencer attached to his gun and it is loaded and aimed at the intended target, he may whisper the “BANG, BANG, BANG” as in the “BANG rule” the killed player acknowledges by dying quietly. This allows the shooter to proceed with his assassinations.

Sniper rule

(Optional) The maximum feet per second that is allowed for a snipe gun is 500 feet per second. The sniper must have a side arm. The sniper must not shoot anyone under 30 feet and before the sniper goes into the field the sniper must demonstrate how far is 30 feet. This demonstration shows that the sniper understands the safety rule.

Registration rule

(Optional) Upon arrival to the Come Alive Zone the dead man signs a clipboard. This is a way to record the amount of kills a team is able to achieve during a game.

1. Johnny Rambo Red team 2. Ivan Hitmuch Yellow team 3. G.I. Joseph Black team

Come Alive Zone

The Come Alive Zone is to be marked by a caution cone or a large triangle as shown above. A twenty-five feet boundary of safety is honored for the dead and recovering players. It is an act of dishonor to snipe and shoot any player under fifty feet from the COME ALIVE ZONE.

Safety goggles are to be kept on at all times. They may be removed only at the COME ALIVE ZONE and back at the rallying point (at the cars).

All guns are to be chronographed at sub 400 feet per second!

No alcohol or any controlled substance!
