Director Boris Sagal was born October 18, 1917 and died May 22, 1981 in Portland, Oregon, in a helicopter crash while filming. His daughter is actress Katey Sagal.

Gary Crosby, who played Andy, was the eldest son of Bing Crosby. Gary was born June 27, 1934 and died August 24, 1995 in Burbank, California of lung cancer.


Joby Baker, who played Wilbur, was once married to actress Joan Blackman. Joan co-starred with Elvis twice, in Blue Hawaii and Kid Galahad.


Jimmy Hawkins, who played Doc, was born November 13, 1941 in Los Angeles, California. He hasn't done any film work since Spinout.


Jackie Coogan's (Sgt. Benson, left) birth name was John Leslie Coogan Jr. He was born October 26, 1914 in Los Angeles, California. He died March 1, 1984 in Santa Monica, California of heart problems. Although he acted in many films, his most famous role was Uncle Fester in the Addams Family. But Jackie is most famous for the Coogan Act. He was a child star in the 20's and his mother and stepfather refused to give him the money he had earned. Jackie filed suit for about $4 million that he had made. Under California law he had no rights to money he made as a child and he got only $126,000 in 1939. Because of public reaction, California Legislature passed "The Child Actors Bill", known as the "Coogan Act", which sets up a trust fund for any child actor to protect his earnings.


John Fiedler, who played Mr. Penchill, was born February 3, 1925 in Platteville, Wisconsin and resides in Brooklyn, New York. John is well known as a character actor and his most famous role is the voice of "Piglet" in Winnie the Pooh. He started acting in the 1950s and continues to work today. His latest film was Disney's "The Emperor's New Groove".


Tommy Farrell's birth name is Thomas Richards. He was born October 7, 1921 in San Diego, California. He is the son of Glenda Farrell (who played Mammy in Kissin Cousins). Tommy also had a role in that film and played Louie (uncredited) in this film.


Norman Grabrowski, who played "Wolf Call O'Brien" is well known as a custom car designer. Norman's hot rods have won awards and he is well respected in the industry and commands top prices.


Dan Haggerty (right), who played Charlie (uncredited), was born November 19, 1941 in Hollywood, California. Dan became famous for his "Grizzly Adams" character and just completed a Grizzly film, "Escape to Grizzly Mountain" last year.


Hank Jones, who had an uncredited bit part as a "boy" in Girl Happy has had an amazing career as a geneaologist. He is well known for his research into family trees, that began when he was 8 years old. He has been featured on Unsolved Mysteries about psychic geneologists. Hank has won many awards for his published works and even discovered that he and Elvis are slightly related as they both had Palatine (Irish) ancestors. Julie Payne, who had an uncredited bit part as a "girl" has been featured in many films and TV shows. She had a recurring role on "The Wonder Years" and has appeared in numerous films, including "Spy Hard" in 1996.

Olan Soule (left), who had an uncredited bit part as "waiter #2" was born February 1, 1910 in La Harpe, Illinois. He died February 1, 1994 in Los Angeles, California of lung cancer. Olan was a famous character actor and can be seen in many episodes of the "Andy Griffith Show" and "Dragnet". Olan began his acting career in 1926 on radio, performing for 11 years on "Bachelor's Children". He also did many movies and voice overs through the years.
