April 1, 2000 - Saturday

Today I decided to blow off work and instead I ran off to Vegas and married the first guy I saw in the casino. Cool huh? Not! (my sad and pathetic attempt at an April Fools joke)

Work was okay, but two of my classes cancelled. It's a bit sad, but they did call, so it's not like I was waiting for them and worrying!

My other classes went really well. They were fun. We talked about nostalgia in one class. The things I get nostalgic for are....Ralph the Teddy Bear (Why oh why didn't I bring him with me?), my Bay City Rollers 45's, especially the one with the picture of the lads and the words for "Bye Bye Baby", my David Essex albums (I didn't play them a lot, I just liked to look at the album covers) and maybe my copy of "Arsenic and Old Lace" from my high school production. Yes, I was Aunt Abby.

In my other class we did saying numbers for money in shopping situations. I think it went well, even though it was two guys that did it. They seemed to enjoy themselves.

The weather today was windy and changeable. My ride to work and back were fine, except for the extreme wind behind Jusco...I always think I'll die there, but during the day it did rain a bit.

I got home tonight just in time to watch Beverly Hills 90210 and then Dharma and Greg. Yay! It's always nice to be able to watch TV...real TV!

And that's about it. I'm a touch tired, so I may go to bed right away. Another time....
