March 31, 2000 - Friday
I was busy today. I didn't have a lot of classes, but I did have 2 interviews, plus
a lot of paperwork to do. It was kind of interesting, a lady came back that I had
interviewed 2 and a half years ago. I actually remembered her.
Again, I got to work okay, but when I was finally ready to leave the school it started
to hail. Yikes. I told the manager that I wasn't going to leave until it stopped.
It was nasty for a few minutes, but then ended. The nice thing was that the hail
seemed to have taken the force out of the rain, so it wasn't too bad going home. The
wind was a little strong, but not like the other night.
I mailed some parcels today. I'm glad, they were sitting in my apartment for a while!
I just didn't get around to mailing anything before today. On my way to the post
office I bumped into Shimi and she ended up coming with me and then walking me back
to the department store. It was really nice to walk with someone. Doesn't that sound
crazy? Really though, I almost never bump into someone I know, and even less often
someone that wants to talk to me.
Classes were fine I think. I enjoyed them and that is often the best sign. We did
some acting in my final class and it was a hoot. They had to act out a health problem,
for example, a stomach ache. The class really acted out. They made it fun.
When I finally arrived home, I sent some e-mail and watched a bit of TV. I'm hoping
that maybe something good will come on, but it doesn't look like it will. Oh well,
maybe I can get to bed early. On that note, adios!
