August 5, 2000 - Saturday
Today was a busy work day. I had seven classes, everyone showed up on time, so I
had very little free time. It's okay, of course, and I was prepared, but it gets
a bit tiring, especially when the classes are private....for two hours.
I wore my suit with the rose skirt. I really like that one, but the top is made from
polyester. Today they shut down the air conditioning in the building at 4:30 pm.
I had to work for another 4 1/2 hours in polyester. Yuck! It was a bit hot and
humid.
After work I left fairly early and walked to Mosburgers. I bought some food there
and brought it home to eat. On my way home I bumped into two students from my school.
It was nice to see some people that I recognized.
At home I popped in a tape that Van had sent me and I watched The Pretender and an
episode of That 70's Show. They were darn good.
I'm not really sure what I'll do with myself tomorrow, I do have a mound of laundry
that is calling my name. However, I found out that The Insider is playing near my
apartment and I'd like to go and see it. It is Russell Crowe after all. :-) I've
also been thinking about getting myself a cd Walkman because I'd like to do a bit of power-walking
again if I can. I have a Walkman for tapes, but I can't make any new ones so I'd
like one for cds.
