August 12, 2000 - Saturday
Today was a different sort of Saturday. I had had one class cancel, so it wasn't
as busy as it usually is.
The classes that I had did go really well though. That was nice.
It was a sunny hot day today. The walk to work was pleasant and I even bought my
lunch when I bought breakfast today. Yes, I'm a bit embarrassed to mention this,
but I don't even make breakfast now, I buy sandwiches at the convenience store on
the way to work.
Not much happened today. I did forget to punch out after work, so I went back and
did it. That's about it. I walked home. I didn't talk to anyone, didn't see anyone
I knew...kind of boring.
Last night I stuck the second tape back in the VCR and watched it. It had a very
funny episode of Friends on it. Rachel tried to make Trifle. It's one of my favourite
desserts, but not the way she made it. She put a layer of meat and vegetables in
it. Her recipe book got stuck together and she combined Trifle with Shepards Pie. Yikes.
Anyway if I'm telling you about last nights TV then I had nothing interesting to talk
about today. Sorry.
