July 16, 2000 - Sunday
A busy and quite productive day. I did a lot of unpacking! I finally got a couple
of the boxes in my living room emptied and I folded up a ton of boxes too. I took
the pipe hanger out of my closet and adjusted it so that it is both taller and longer.
That means that most of my clothes fit on it now.
I'm getting used to having more space in my living room too. Tomorrow I'll have to
work on my tatami room. I'm planning to rearrange it totally. I want to do the same
with my living room too. It's just a matter of getting down to it.
I watched a few of the movies too. I watched WarGames again. Even though the technology
has changed the threat hasn't. It was one of the first movies about computer hacking
too. It was just as good now as it was back when I saw it with my Mum and my sister. I also watched Studio 54. It wasn't so great, but comedian Mike Myers was.
He played the most interesting character in the film. A Perfect Murder with Gwyneth
Paltrow was interesting too. David Suchet had a very minor role in that one. It's
too bad, he's such an great actor. I'm now watching Dazed and Confused. It takes me back
to being in Junior High/High School.
I also went out and bought some groceries and supper. The walk was nice and I didn't
seem to huff and puff so much. I think.
I came home, watched another movie and then I went out again. I just wanted to get
out of the apartment and stop thinking so much. I walked up to the temple on the
hill, but it was a bit rainy and foggy so I couldn't see much. It was a nice walk
and I'm glad I went for it.
I came home, worked on my bedroom enough so I can get to bed tonight. I'm not sure
when that will be!
