September 18, 2000 - Monday
Today was a long day! I got up around 10:00 and got ready to go to my lesson. It
was really good. We talked about numbers and months etc.
After the lesson I returned my videos and walked home via the convenience store. I
ate lunch and headed off for the big city.
In Sapporo I first went to the bank...had trouble getting the darn cash machine to
work, but it finally spewed some cash my way. I went to a book store and then I
went to the computer store. I got a mouse (this one works, hurrah). After that
I walked towards the other big book store, but stopped for coffee. I went to a place that I'd
walked by a few times and wanted to try. It was really nice. I had apple pie and
ice cream. Very nice.
I walked into a sewing shop and they were selling boas. I was <--> this close to
buying one. I've always wanted one, but could never afford it before. I didn't get
it, but I might in the future. I have a vision of myself in a sexy negligee leaning
in a doorway, draped with a boa. Maybe scary?
I bought a few books for school and some stuff for me too at the other bookstore,
then checked out The Body Shop. I bought a few things there, not much. After that
it was off to the No-Name brand store. I got some things for work and then walked
to the station and caught the train home.
At home I didn't do very much-answered a bunch of e-mail, cooked supper....yes, really,
and watched a bit of TV. And that's it. My day is over and I'm off to bed now.
