September 26, 2000 - Tuesday
I was busy today. I had 5 classes which I had to prepare and then teach. It made
a nice change to be booked up.
My doorbell rang this morning and I actually answered it. It was a man who was with
the census bureau. He had a multi-lingual sheet with him and we worked out that he
will come back tomorrow at 10 am with an English form for me. It's kind of nice
to be included in something official for a change.
I arrived at the school before everyone else and discovered that over the last few
days I had received some mail. Yay! I got a bunch of Katie pictures...they are
SO cute, a letter from my college and one from a former teacher of mine.
I had a pretty good day. I had to stay late to do some paperwork, and Justin and
I had a bit of a chat too. That was nice. I left the office around 10:10 I think,
which was actually later than I usually go.
On the way home it was raining a bit, but not too badly. However, I was under the
covered mall when I heard a loud noise. It was like horses running or hail coming.
It was rain coming down in sheets. I stayed under the covered area for as long
as possible, but I did get quite wet, even with an umbrella.
When I got home I started to sneeze a bit, so I really hope that that isn't a sign
that I'm getting a cold or something. Yuck. I don't want a cold.
