September 25, 2000 - Monday
Well, how do I describe this weekend? I don't think I will. It was great though.
I got back to Otaru around 4 tonight, walked home and did laundry. That was exciting....not!
After laundry I watched a bit of telly and then decided to go out for groceries. I
went for groceries, then videos then the convenience store for supper and to pay
some of my bills. I came home and watched one of the videos. It was really strange.
For those of you that wondered, yes I did go back to Tsuruoka. If you are reading
this and are angry that I didn't contact you, I'm sorry. I only had a short time
to visit and the time I had there was packed.
I feel like I did very little beside eat! I had Imoni, sushi, pilaf, all kinds of
delicious things. It was wonderful, but I probably don't have to eat for the next
month!
I also went to a ryokan, took a boat ride down the Mogami River, had an imoni party,
went to an aquarium, boating around Sakata Bay...all kinds of things. It really was
a full weekend.
It'll be hard to come back to the "real" world tomorrow, and back to work. Sigh.
They say all good things must come to an end....but maybe it's just the beginning!
