Happy Valentine's Day
I had a pretty good day today. I slept last night...when I finally got to bed I just
zonked out and I didn't wake up again until 9:30! My alarm had been on for an hour,
but I'd slept right through it. Considering it was The Brian Setzer Orchestra and
it had been blaring away on my stereo for a full hour it was amazing that I didn't wake
up. The only thing that did wake me to be honest was the sunlight coming in the
window.
Work was fine. I planned my kids lessons today and they went reasonably well. The
child who can be a handful was a bit today, but he was also quite good-natured so
it was almost fun.
I did a bit of paperwork after my lessons, got things caught up.
I came home around 10:00 pm and did another load of laundry and made nabe. I don't
know if it was really nabe, but I liked it. I didn't have any fish to put in, so
I put a bit of bacon in. That was good. I really enjoyed it. I don't have a proper
nabe pot or cooker, but a pot with lid and the stove worked well!
As I ate, I watched the show about the astronauts. It was quite interesting, if a
little dry. Tonight they made it to the Moon.
And that is that. My day. Not terribly exciting, but nice too.
On a personal note, it's been the first time that I've had a "Valentine" on Valentine's
day, so it made this year an especially happy one, even though I couldn't be with
him.
And with that cryptic note, I'll bid you all adieu!
