October 20, 2001 - Saturday
After the hectic pace of the last few days at work, it was nice to have a bit of a
quieter day. I got a lot of paperwork done, and tidied up, but no planning done
for next week so I'll likely go in on Monday when all my family is at work and do
some.
I had 5 lessons, but actually one of them was an hour late, so it was like having
4. That meant I could get everything done quickly. Yay!
An update on Fumihiko, he's still sick, but it isn't pneumonia, thank goodness. He
said he spent a lot of the day in bed. Poor sing.
He got back from the hospital in time to drive me to work, and volunteered to pick
me up afterwards too. Well, during the day I was reminded that there was a party
after work, so when he called to see if I was ready, I asked him if he wanted to
go. He said yes, but maybe we shouldn't have as I think the poor guy needs some sleep.
However, the party was fun, there were some other Canadians there and they sung some
terrible songs...or rather, they sung some songs terribly, before they started singing
better! The food was good too, but a lot of the stuff we ordered didn't come. Oh
dear.
Anyway, it's just about bed time, so I'll say good night. Good night.
