Gorgeous hot day. Lots of sun.
Sometimes I wonder how people that have no ethics can look themselves in the mirror.
Today I was asked to do something that I don't approve of and that if I had done
while I was working at the bank would have got me fired. I refused with full force
and fury, but somehow worried about it all day. I talked it over with Fumihiko but he
didn't seem as concerned about the situation as I am. Hopefully it'll just blow
over or turn out to be a mistake.
Anyway, not a great day at work. I was a little busy but not a lot.
My Cosmo had arrived yesterday so I went out for lunch and had a bit of a read. Thank
goodness there's such a lot in Cosmo, it'll keep me busy for a day or two.
And more bad news, our holiday trip to Sado has been cancelled as not enough people
signed up for it. I'm a little sad and a little relieved as I wasn't sure I could
handle 29 Japanese people on a bus for 2 days! Luckily for him, Fumihiko has some
other plans!
I went out and did a power walk this morning and then took too long at my computer
when I was cooling down. I had to have a very hurried shower but it was fine actually.
I still got to work before everyone else.
And that's it. I have to go now. Night!
