August 8, 2002 - Thursday
Guess what? It was another hot and sunny day today. I'm getting sick of it!
A hot, but nice day. I spent the morning in the apartment, mostly snoozing and drinking
iced water. I walked to work via the drug store and the convenience store, and was
the first person there. Hurray.
Lessons went quite well today. The child student was co-operative and even did a
bit more talking than usual. In one class I do some experimenting every now and
then and it worked out well.
I did get a bit sick after school tonight and I had to run to the toilet. I seem to
be okay now though. Keep your fingers crossed for me eh?
Fumihiko paid the bill for my apartment today. We both contributed to the bill, which
was really sweet of him as he didn't need to. He said the company was surprised
that we paid it so soon.
Only 2 more days of work before it's my holiday. Hurray. I'm very excited.
Apparently it's the first day of the old Japanese Calendar's Autumn, but it doesn't
feel like it. I hope it cools down soon. It's way too hot for me!
