Mike Steelerelli has been wrestling ever since he was able to move. He was first introduced to the sport at the ripe age of 2 years old by his father who sat with him every Saturday morning to watch The World Wrestling Federation© with his boy. It was just then that Mike Steelerelli had seen what he wanted to do with his life and that is become a professional wrestler. Qouted from his father is what he said Mike's response as he looked at his dream for the first time on the Televison, "His face lit up with joy, His eyes opened so wide I thought his eyeballs were going to pop out of his head. It was just then when Mike looked at me and said 'Dad, I want to be a wrestler'"
It was just then when Mike Steelerelli became Mike Steelerelli, Mike would watch wrestling every chance he could. His mother reports of him setting his alarm every Friday night to wake up in time for wrestling the next morning. Mike would wrestle ever chance he got as well, His family reports his wrestling with his stuffed animals, Snow Suits, and Many other things as well. It is also said that Mike was in his living room when he was jumping off his fathers ladder onto his stuffed animals in true Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka fashion.
Mike Steelerelli was able to grow up watching the best generation of wrestling that was possible. Mike looked up to many superstars in The World Wrestling Federation© such as "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, The Ultimate Warrior, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorf, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, King Kong Bundy, Andre The Giant, The Killer Bees. but his all time favorite was none other than the "Real American" Hulk Hogan. Mike Steelerelli used to look up to Hogan with the passion that one day he could stand next to his hero and wrestled side by side with him one day.
Later on down the wrestling years, Mike found some new athletes to look up to includeing, Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart, The Mountie and countless others. One day when Mikes father brought home Mikes very first championship wrestling belt from work. That was definitly the beginning of the end. Mike would go around and beat up his brothers and sisters because of the title belt he loved so dearly. He even used to bring it to School with him and hit the other kids with it.
Years went on when finally Mike cought his break and was introduced to a kid who let him set up a ring for a independent promotion. It was just then when Mike Steelerelli was introduced to Tony Devito, Danger, Kenny Casanova, Johnny Kain and many more. Mike could not wait for the next show to roll back around as all the wrestlers took a likeing to him and seen that he had some potential. After that Mikes dreams would start slowly comeing true as Devito, Danger and the other guys would train Mike for his duties of setting the ring and chairs up. Then in 1998 Mike Steelerelli cought a break in the Elite Wrestling Federation when Danger invited him to start his own federation with a few people. Mike held the world championship in the Elite Wrestling Federation, But left when the promotion became to unprofessional
Now, It's been said by me, it's been said by almost everyone. There has to be a franchise to make a federation, to make something go. And in the wrestling businesses case that something, that someone, is Mike Steelerelli. He has made his name known from nowhere to everywhere. He will some day grow up and be somewhere.
Steelerelli has made a name for himself in the EWF and many indies ring, Now he looks to take on greater challenges which is currently around the New England territory and into Mich and PA as well.
Steelerelli - love him, hate him, enjoy him. You are looking at a guy who will be something, and that something could be bigger then Hulk Hogan, bigger then even Ric Flair. Look out for Steelerelli, because he is a league all his own.
