Key: TR= 25 meter line walking south of river with plants
recorded at every 5 meters.
RE= 200 meter
line with plants recorded every 5 meters, while walking west.
(Every plant seen looking toward river was recorded)
TR1 is located on Byer Way walking south from the bridge.
TR5 is located on Byer Road walking south from the bridge.
Analysis
We made an observation that the closer the
plants were to human activity the less native plants there
were. The farther you go away from the roads the more native
plants you see. Our survey supports this observation. If
you look up at the chart or the graph you will notice the
numbers. For the species of plants you will see that the
observation is also true. The number of species of non-native
plants in Transects #s 4 and 5 is more than the number of native
species.
