5. A shopkeeper bought 440 lb of wheat at 35 cents per lb. Out of it 49 lb were spoiled and he sold the rest at 42 cents per lb. Find his profit or loss amount. Find the percentage.



6. A woman bought 13 candy packs for $8.45, and she sold 8 for $4.88, Find the gain or lost percent.



7. A shopkeeper bought 15 cans of corn oil for $180.00 He sold each can for $13.00, Find his gain or loss percent.



8. A shopkeeper bought 116 lb of onions for $71.92, He sold 73 lb of onions at 40 cents per lb. The rest he sold at 74 cents per lb. Find the profit or loss percentage.

6. Cost of 13 candy packs = $8.45
Cost of 1 candy pack = 65 cents
Selling price of 8 candy packs = $4.88
Selling price of of 1 candy pack = 61 cents
Loss= 4 cents per candy pack, Loss percentage = 6.15%

7. Gain = $15 and 8.33%
8. Loss = 15.16%
