5. A man sold two washing machines for $1600 each. On one he made a profit of 3% and on the other he made a loss of 7%. Find the total cost price.



6. A shopkeeper mixes two varieties of onions, one costing 24 cents per lb. and the other costing 29 cents per lb in the ratio 1:2. If he sells the mixed onions at 25 cents per lb, find his gain or loss percent.



7. A shop keeper mixes two varieties of berries, one costing 11 cents per lb. and the other costing 12 cents per lb in the ratio 2:3. Find the selling price per lb of the mixed berries, if the shop keeper made a profit of 55.17%.
