| Cool Stuff I Did in High School | Field trips in Mr.Parks Marine Biology
class, Piedras Blancas overnighter was great. Botany with
Miss Jones was a great class. Work experience with Jim
Thornburg got me out of school early each day, flipped
burgers at the WhistleStop out by the train station on
Osos St, next to the Caboose bar, horseshoe card room and
Boo Boo records, also worked at Tropicana, had some great
food fights with Chuck Applegarth and Paul Lamouria in
the kitchen. Riding my bike to school, no money for a car! Hopping freight trains out of San Luis, never knowing where the train was going to stop or how I was going to get back to San+Luis. Rock climbing on the P rock on Bishops Peak with Alan Burkett, and just growing up with a lot of great people, starting at Teach School then Laguna... Graduated a semester early, Now thats being Apathetic!!!! |
| Cool Stuff I've Done in the Last 25 Years | Got married, college, started a
business, grow over 100 million Vegetable Transplants a
year for the Ag industry. Learned to sail and have been lucky to have been able to sail to a lot of the islands in the Caribbean. My wife and I have gotten into Scuba and have had some great trips diving and sailing in the Caribbean. Traveled to Europe a few times, once with Chuck Applegarth who is married to my wives sister so we do a lot together! Too many things to list but it has been a interesting journey! |
