| Cool Stuff I Did in High School | I guess I wasn’t too involved in school activities, but I had a good time and had some great friends that I sure wish I had stayed in contact with. It was a good time for me. Although I would never want to go back and do it again! |
| Cool Stuff I've Done in the Last 25 Years | The best thing that happened to me was
meeting my husband the summer I graduated from SLOSH. We
dated for 3 weeks, were engaged before Cuesta started in
September and married in June 1976. And we’ve been
happy ever since. We unfortunately were never able to have children, but life has been exciting anyway. My husband Mark Kelley (SLOSH ’72) and I moved to San Jose where he attended San Jose State. We lived there for 8 years, then headed to Flagstaff, AZ to continue education. We LOVED it there. We moved to Lafayette, IN in 1988 to attend Purdue University and after graduation we decided we liked the mid-west and stayed out here. We are both big fans of Boilermaker basketball! I supposed I haven’t done too much "cool stuff," but life has been a tapestry of surprises that have included both good and bad, but I have to say most of it has been very good. I wish I could be at the reunion, but I most likely will not be able to be there. It would be great to see how everyone has changed over the years. Thanks for all the memories. |
