Cool Stuff I Did in High School	(Is there a statute of limitations?) Snuck around the High School gathering donations for a weight training program we were pioneering in the area. Long drives to find the perfect spot to watch submarine races. Dodging the devil and nearly taking out Ronnie Skinner’s house when the Red Beast popped up in the back of my van after seeing (The Exorcist.) Doing car slip-n-slides in the rain puddles--ponds?--behind Madonna Plaza stores. Trying to pass through the Johnson underpass after the flood. Trying to appear nonchalant about nearly falling over the cliff at Pirate’s Cove.
Cool Stuff I've Done in the Last 25 Years	Had a great time playing football at ASU. Almost died from the intensity of commitment, but tremendous excitement playing in Fiesta Bowls and on national and regional TV. Meeting my future wife, Jeanne, at Racquetball World, Fullerton, and being turned down by her when I asked for a date. Fortunately a friend of hers shamed her into accepting later. The birth and life of our son, Alec. He’s got his mom’s good looks and good spirit, and his dad’s non-stop mouth. Don’t get him started.
