| Cool Stuff I've Done in the Last
25 Years |
Over the past 25 years I have
experienced a great many job positions and explored a
good part of the world. The first year at Cal Poly at a
school dance, I met my husband, Doug. We became active in
Poly Phase (the EL department’s social club for
crazy engineers, of whom Doug is one). I changed majors
several times, including Natural Resources Management,
Agricultural Engineering, and Ag Business Management.
After school, we moved to Silicon Valley, where Doug
worked for Intel and I worked for Atari (GAMES!). We got
fed up with crime, traffic and smog and moved back to SLO
to start a Country Western deli and bar (2 yrs). After
that, I became a computer trainer, then Equipment Lessor
(13 yr). Now I run the paper and marketing side of our
entertainment lighting manufacturing business, along with
trying to keep up with 3 great kids. We travel
constantly with the business, and have been to most
continents. I know Orlando (major clients) better than
LA.
