Yamaha began production of the RD125 in 1974. The 125 shared the same engine and frame as the 200,
but the 125 had smaller cylinder liners and pistons. Outwardly the cylinders
and heads were identical though, as were the carbs. The RD125 will
do approximately 70mph tops and likes to be kept under 50mph.
