Tactics

Always do your energy sensing starting at the front door and then go counter-clockwise around the entire house. After sensing and noting the various types of Qi, then go around again and perform the Space Clearing procedures

If an Entrance is on the ground floor and there is a basement below it, follow the ground floor inside perimeter around until you reach the entrance to the basement, then go down into the basement and go around the inside perimeter of it (if this is practically possible - some basements are simply too cluttered to go into). Then come up, continue around the ground floor back to the entrance, and then up the stairs to the other floors of the house.

Attics - Include the attic if there is one and if there is easy access to it. If access is difficult, don’t worry. It’s more important to go into basements because so much low level energy collects there, but it is not so important to go into attics. Just visualize the effects of the Space Clearing rising up to fill the space in the roof.

In case there is a cluttered basement or attic (or even a garage), and access is limited, then you can usually at least direct some energy from a drum or a bell, and then burn some incense. Highly cluttered areas should be noted and listed for a thorough clean-up in the near future.

Large Houses - If it is a very big house, you may choose to do the Space Clearing one floor at a time. In this situation, always do your energy sensing starting at the front door and going around the entire floor, then up to the next floor(s). Then do the Space Clearing procedures floor by floor, from the bottom up. First, do the basement, finish that completely, then do the ground floor, and so on. Include any stairways as part of the next floor up.

 

 

Multi-use Houses - In smaller houses, where different floors are used for very different purposes, it may work best to Space Clear floor by floor to keep the energies separate. For example, when one floor is residential and another floor is used by you to run a business.
