This site is Troop 399's presence on the Internet. It is a place where we can post relevant scouting ideas as well as what our troop is doing. Troop 399 is located in Rancho Cordova, California. We are a member of the Golden Empire Council, Rio Del Oro District.

- The Scouting program has three main objectives, commonly referred to as the "Aims of Scouting". They are character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. On this page you will learn about these aims in detail and the methods used to achieve them.

- Boy Scouting provides a series of surmountable obstacles and steps in overcoming them through the advancement method. The steps in the advancement system help a Boy Scout grow in self-reliance and in the ability to help others. These pages will walk you through the requirements for each rank.

- It is always the goal of your troop leaders to provide a well rounded scouting program. This questionaire is a way for you to submit your thoughts and ideas to the troop committee. Through your imput we are better able to serve the needs of all scouts.
