Dolphincraft

A scarily plotting Mai...

Hall's Lounge
Cozy to the point of downright stuffy this lounge exudes a salty briny air. Overstuffed and comfortable looking are the chairs of dark blue that reside at one end of this circular room. The smattering of tables that they surround are nothing more than tops with scarred wooden legs attached as well they should be. The bases of the tables and chairs are waterstained and marked by mild salt buildup. Rugs worn with age decorate the polished floor of this relaxation area soft greens and browns making barefeet swoon. Paintings of charts and various sea mammals and fish have been painstakingly added to the walls creating the atmosphere of their mother sea. To one side of the bridge is a wide ledge... [look closer]
To the north, you see one person.
Settled near the water are Terpsichore, Minty, Libra, Hathor-Bastet, and FortyTwo
Swimming about is Tursi
You see Dartboard here.
Mailli is here.
Obvious exits:
Baths Men's Dorms Staff Hall Women's Dorms Infirmary Bridge Sea Lane

Mailli is busily flinging cushions around and muttering under her breath. Nothing loud enough for anyone to hear, unless of course they have very sharp hearing. She straightens and seemingly glares at Jessa. Though truthfully, she doesn't even see her mentee.

Jessa is sitting right on a chair. When Mai glares at her the senior appy eeps and then looks away. Scary Mai, like a rampaging wherry or herdbeast in heat. Eek.

You overhear Mailli mutter, "someone is ... ... pay for ..." to herself.

Jessa didn't do it! Whatever it is, she didn't do it! The senior appy slouches in her chair and ignores Mai. Innocence, innocence. She's fully innocent. Let's radiate innocence out.

Mailli moves ever so swiftly, limp and all, to the table and begins to fling things from that. Papers mostly, but still...

You overhear Mailli mutter, "I am ... to wring the ... scrawny neck. ... drop ... ... ... in the ... ... sharding ..." to herself.

It's an angry herdbeast! No, it's a raging wherry! No... it's a sandstorm! Actually it's just Jess' scary mentor. Jess casts a glance over at her angry and crazy mentor. Is this some sort of wierd mood swing?

Mailli straightens from her mad search, and glares around the room. Obviously it, whatever /it/ is, isn't here. She storms off to the baths and much splashings and mutterings of a dire nature are to be heard.

Jessa looks around at the ruined room. She saw nothing. She knows nothing. Just like a good li'l appy. Nothing out of the ordinary happened here. really.

Mailli storms back to the lounge after a few more splashes. She looks around and finally sits down, "Oh, hello Jessa," she says as she finally notices the girl. Ah, the good part of being female. Such rampages can be ignored and denied, cast aside as hormonal problems or things that never happened. Jess dismisses it all, what else can she do? She's seen a tantrum or two worse than that from her own mother of sorts. "Hiya Mailli," she greets nice and cheerily. Mailli bites her tongue to keep from letting fly with an unwarranted remark. After all it isn't Jessa's fault her journal has misteriously gone missing. Is it? Jessa may be mischevious and cause trouble on occasion, but the senior appy wouldn't deface or steal something as personal as a journal, now would she? Nope. Jess stretches in her chair and slouches more. Mailli reaches down and idly snags one of the cushions she herself has thrown on the floor. Pulling it into her chest, Mai buries her face into said cushion and just screams. What she really wants to do, she is afraid would earn her banishment from the craft. Jessa turns her head towards her mentor and ... well, she stares. What else would someone do when witnessing such a sight? "Uh... Mailli?" she ventures, at own personal risk. Ooh, she's being brave now. Mailli looks up from the cushion and blink, "Yes?" Nothing seriously wrong here. Not really. See? Mai is just fine. Jessa blinks a few times at Mailli. "Are you feeling alright? Have you gotten enough sleep? Have you eaten enough lately?" Something -must- be wrong. "Is Ailla okay?" Mailli blinks at the rapid fire of questions, "I'm fine. Ailla is great. Um.. I think I ate today? Sleep? Was I supposed to sleep?" she chuckles softly before continuing, "No one told me that was a requirement," she winks and starts to laugh. Oh yeah, padded cell here we come. Jessa raises a brow at Mailli. She's flipped, oh yeah. Jess stands up and grabs a few meatrolls from the tray and holds them out to Mailli. Not necessarily nutritious, but hey, it's food. Mailli laughs as Foofer reaches out and snags the meatroll from Jess. Silly girl. Now which girl is up for debate, but the answer is probably something like, 'yes'. The older girl of course. The one laughing. Jess shrugs and raises a brow, "Mai, you should sleep..." concern is contained within her voice, and she gives Mai a pleading look. Mailli nods, "You're probably right. Want to go to the 'Mug with me?" hoboy! Watch out hall, the Mai is on a tear. Jessa shakes her head, "No, Mai. You need to go to sleep. In your bed, in your room." As in, Mai shouldn't get drunk. And she shouldn't be running around. There is almost a pout from Mailli, but she chuckles. The frustration of not being able to find her journal is temporarily forgotten. Standing, Mailli gets herself a klah, then a plate of fishrolls and cheese, "Foofer won't steal these," is offered in way of explanation. Jessa grins and nods, "Right. 'though my firelizards will eat anything, even cheese or fish." But then some firelizards are odder than others, just as other people are odder than others. Jess watches her mentor, to make sure the older girl does go to bed and not run off to drink or do something else equally harmful or panicky. Mailli finishes her snack, or meal, or whatever, and then stands to go into her room. You overhear Mailli mutter, "... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... I don't!" to herself. Jessa blinks as Mai mutters some more, but shrugs it off. "Sleep good Mailli!" Mailli walks with slow and deliberate steps to the north.
