Chapter 28

“C’mon babe! What’s your name again?” AJ said as he led me
stumbling into the elevator.

“My name’s Robin,” I said between kisses. This again wasn’t a total lie.
My name really was Robin. Bobbi is just a nickname.

“Well Robin, let’s get going,” he said pulling out of the elevator onto the
penthouse floor past a bodyguard who was dozing against the wall.

We walked into the suite and immediately he took off his suit coat, and
tie and began to work at the tie of my halter dress as his tongue probed the
inside of my mouth. Man, he was definitely a good kisser. Why did he have to
be a jerk?

We kept kissing even after my top had fallen to my waist and his hands
roamed my upper torso. By this time I’d managed to unbutton his dress shirt and
rub my hands across his well-toned chest. I began to work my way down his
neck, placing my teeth exactly where I needed them to drink his blood.

“Hey babe,” I asked in a low, soothing voice.

	“Mm?”

“I’m gonna give you something to remember this evening by,” I said
tightening my grip on this throat after I said it.

“And I’ll return the favor,” he mumbled, his teeth already buried in my
neck, his tongue caressing the sensitive skin of my neck. I thought for a second I
felt four sharp teeth against my skin but dismissed it as my imagination.

I allowed my teeth to slide down and grow into hollow needles so I
could drink his blood. Something was wrong. I wasn’t getting very much blood.
I wondered if he had just had blood drawn or something. When I’d gotten all the
blood I could, I pulled my head back to look him in the eye. I was now sober, I
guess drinking other’s blood has that effect on you.

“What the hell??!!” I yelled upon seeing his mouth. I saw four
distinctive points jutting out far past the rest of his teeth.

“You’re asking me what the hell? What the hell were you doing bitch??”
he yelled back at me, strangely sober as well. It must have hit us at the same
time because almost instinctively we each reached for our necks. I felt blood
and four open wounds on my neck and I became infuriated.

	“You bit me!” I cried.

“And you bit me,” he said bitterly glaring at his blood covered hand and
me.

“We’ve got a problem,” I said urgently retying my dress, ashamed at the
situation I’d created for myself.

“You think?” he asked bitterly, buttoning his shirt.

I’d had enough; we needed to sort this whole mess out right now, so I
did the only thing I knew what to do at that instant, I screamed for Whitney. I
knew she’d be at the hotel; she’d left the party before me.

“What?” she asked in my head.

	“Get in here now!”

	“Ok, where are you?”

“AJ’s suite. And I don’t care how you get there, just get here now!! You
can transport through the door. We’ve got explaining to do anyway.”

	“I’ll be there.”
