D.C.'s finest AKA Ginuwine AKA Elgin Baylor Lumpkin is a Sony 550 music recording artist . In 1996 he bought to the table hits such as "Pony", "Tell Me DoYou Wanna" , and a reminiscing energetic remake of The Artist formerly known as Prince, "When Doves Cry". As you may know success didn't come easily for the bachelor, which is a good thing he received a paralegal degree at Prince George College for the long run. Prior to breaking into the anything but sweet music business he worked with Jodeci's Devante "Defunct" Swing for 5 years. Along with working with Devante he met Melissa"Missy Misdemeanor" Elliot and Tim "Timbaland" Mosely, both known as the wonder twins for writin ryhmes and producing fat beats for themselves as well as other artists.It may have taken a while for "G" success but this fine specimen of a man is definitely along ways from being stage shy. I have read, heard and seen (on tv) that this sexy crooner can make moves to make you groove, well i'll see for myself at the "Ladies Nite Out" concert February 20, 2000. Mr.Lumpkin peformed in grade school talent shows & was also one of the youngest members of a group named Finesse Five (sounds like a Michael Jackson produced group) at the age of 12.
