Melissa, Monica, Mae, and Marie...Four ladies, but One Vo1ce.

These four fly Filipinas got their start when their friends signed them up for a talent show without their knowledge. They rehersed non-stop until they perfected their routine. At that time, it was only Aimee, Marie, Monica, and Melissa; Mae, whose Marie's sister, would join the group later.

With all five members, the girls released their first single "All Day All Nite." Soon after, on April 20, 1999, their debut album Just The Beginning was released. But it wasn't until the release of their next single "When U Think About Me" that the ladies would hit it big. MTV got a hold of the track and featured the song in their made-for-TV movie Jailbait. The single also made its way to the Billboard Hot 100.

Next came the release of "Boyfriend." Although it didn't do as well as their sophomore single, the track still made a name for itself. After all the girls took a break for college, Aimee decided to concentrate more on her schooling than on her music career. She may not be featured on One Vo1ce's sophomore album Sincerely Yours, but she is still free to come back whenever she wants.

Just recently, the group's latest single, "Thru It All," hit the radio airwaves. The track is a smooth ballad that shows off the ladies' harmonies. It's just a snippet of what came on the June 26th release of Sincerely Yours.

This is Just The Beginning for these ladies and the best is yet to come.
