nobody wants to be lonely
by Berg
CHAPTER 3

They worked together on the song for the next couple of days. In the meantime they got to know eachother a little better, and surely enough they were really falling for eachother.

They had a day off to relax. They had been going back and forth from the studio to give the producers some insight into what they were planning with the song. Surely enough, the producers started working on some of the music, and both Berg and Bug had approved of it. It suited the song perfectly. They just had to put the finishing touches on the lyrics and arrange them to know who was going to be singing what in the song.

"I was wondering," Bug asked shyly "if you..."

"If I what?" she looked confused. What is it that he wanted to ask her? "No, he's not gonna ask you out, don't even think that." She thought to herself.

"Dammit, why can't I just ask her?" Bug thought, "Just ask her. The worst she can say is no. Here goes nothing."

"I was wondering if... if you wanna go out on saturday night." She couldn't resist those beautiful eyes and smile.

"You know what? I'd love to." She smiled.

"Oh! Okay," he was a little bit surprised, "so I'll pick you up at about 7?"

She smiled and kissed him on the cheek, "That would be perfect."

Saturday came in no time. They had begun to record their song. They finally decided on a title for the song they had written. They chose to call it "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely." That night, as Bug had promised, he picked her up at 7. He wore a black sweatshirt, tan khaki pants and black shoes. To top it off, he was holding a single white rose. He was nervous, but he knocked on her hotel room door. When she answered the door, he could not believe his eyes.

"You look absolutely, just, wow." he said handing her the rose and giving her a kiss on the cheek. She was wearing a baby-blue dress that had a little shine to it. Added to that, she was wearing chunky, black, platform shoes. She was also wearing her usual jewelry and make-up, and though her hair was short, she gave it a messy-but-pretty look to it.

"Thanks," she smiled and blushed "So, where are we going tonite?" She set the rose on the table in her hotel and headed out the door with Bug. He took her hand and walked her to his car.

"I was thinking dinner, and maybe we could go for a walk or something after. Or we can do whatever you'd like to do afterwards." He told her as he helped her into his car. He got in and pulled out of the parking-lot to where they were to go for dinner.
