nobody wants to be lonely
by Berg
CHAPTER 4

When they arrived, Berg was shocked with what Bug had done. He hadn't taken her to a restaurant. He had cooked her dinner, and to top that off decorated a table for them outside with candles and white roses.

"Wow, this is absolutely beautiful." She said getting out of the car.

"Yeah," he blushed, "but not as beautiful as you." he said as approached her. He grabbed her hand and escorted her to the table.

They had pasta and salad for their main course, and fruit pizza for desert. After their dinner they both decided on going for a walk and get to know eachother a little better. During the dinner they mainly talked about their upcoming projects, and the release of "Nobody Wants To Be Lonely" since it wouldn't be much longer til it would be finished.

On their walk they talked about everything from their childhood and whatever they could think of to get to know eachother more than what they saw from interviews, or saw from working together. Berg was a little hesitant to talk about her past. She mainly talked about the happier things in her childhood, or what she could remember of it.

"Well," Bug started off, "my parents divorced when I was younger. I mostly live with my mom. I see my dad every once in a while. Acting has kept me busy though, so sometimes I don't really get to see either of them." He could sense that there was something wrong with Berg. "Are you okay?" All she could do was shake her head. "Do you want to talk about it? 'Cause I'm here for you and I want you to know that."

She sighed. "Everything isn't as great as what I made it out to be."

They walked over to a bench and sat down. Bug put his arm around her and she began to tell her story.

"From what I can remember from my childhood, was mostly horrible things. Everything from being abused, mentally and physically, to constantly being made fun of by my peers." She continued on, "When I was 13, I started drinking, and became more and more depressed. Everything kept building up and I became suicidal. Shortly after that, I got an audition notice for an acting school. When I was accepted, everything started looking more positive from there, well, until we almost lost everything and I sacrificed my acting classes, so we could have a place to live." She felt as if she was going to start crying, but held back the tears and continued. "Two days after my 15th birthday, my best friend was taken and was put into a group home. I cried for days on end. The next couple of years I continued to deal with my depression, I learned guitar and I kept up with my performing."

"I want you to know," Bug started off, "that I'd never hurt you. I don't want you to be afraid to talk to me about anything, I want you to feel safe. I love you."

She smiled. "It's like you knew what I was thinking," she sighed, "I love you too."
