Aren't sure what I'm talking about or what products to use? Here's the page to clear that up!
Note: I'm going by Canadian prices and brands, so they may vary depending on where you live! :)

Hair Straightener (aka "flat iron")
This little device can be made either with or without little comb-like teeth and is used for those of us who are unlucky enough to have super-straight hair.
Directions - On packages
Average Price - not more than $45 (Canadian) for a half-decent one

Curling Iron
This little device can come in any shape or form. Some are really skinny and long, others are huge and short, it all depends on what type of curl you want for your hair.
Directions - On packages
Average Price - not more than $40 (Canadian) for a half-decent one

Hair Spray
If you have not heard of hair spray, welcome to Earth, my friends! :D Hair spray is used when you want your hair to stay in a certain style for different periods of time (depends on the type of spray you buy!) It's always best to spray before using any hot device on your hair (examples above), as it will hold better this way.
Directions - On bottles (spray away from eyes!!)
Average Price - not more than $5 (Canadian) for a half-decent brand
Pictured - Down Under Natural's Ultimate Hold Spray Gel (I love this stuff, it's really good!)

Hair Styling Paste/Mold (aka pommade)
It's a sticky-sort of substance (kinda waxy) that you put in your hair and you can then remold it or shape it any way you want.
Directions - On bottles/containers (works best on damp/wet hair!)
Average Price - not more than $10 (Canadian) for a half-decent brand
Pictured - L'Oreal Special FX Remix: Remouldable Textured Effect (I love this stuff, it's really good!)

Bobby Pins (aka hair pins/hair clips)
These are a sometimes metal, sometimes plastic little tool that works to secure hair, whether together or away from face.
Average Price - not more than $3 (Canadian) for package of multiples

Hair Elastics (aka hair ties)
I'm yet to meet anyone whose never used these! Perfect for securing bunches of hair together and for the famous 'ponytail' as we Canadians call it! :)
Average Price - not more than $3 (Canadian) for package of multiples

Please don't use rubber bands instead. Rubber bands are infamous for ripping out pieces of your hair when you try to undo them. Save up some money and buy some decent hair ties, at least for the sake of your hair! :D

Hair Jewels
Cute little sparkles to add a bit of 'dazzle' to your hair-style. These come in all sorts of shapes, colors and sizes. For many, you may have to buy hair glue to secure them in your hair (the glue washes out), there may be velcro pieces on the back of the jewels or sometimes they even come with a clip in the back so you can easily clip them into your hair. Shop around for different kinds!
Average Price - not more than $10 (Canadian) for package of multiples
