You Never Know With Women

     Floyd Jackson, an impoverished private eye is hired by a crook, Cornelius Gorman, to steal a rare Cellini dagger from a tycoon's house, which, Gorman claims, was inadvertently left by his protégé, Veda Rux, a stripper, who also sleepwalks. However,  the scene soon erupts into a free-for-all, in which Jackson spirits away Veda, and also Gorman's diamond ring. The going soon gets rough, when the owner of the dagger, asks Floyd to return the dagger, but is subsequently murdered. On the run, Jackson is forced to live rough, but he manages, with Veda's help. But Veda is not as innocent and as un-involved, as she makes herself to be.
