Russell's role in Brides of Christ was not extensive he was in part of only one two hour segment, but his performance stood out.  I have friends who saw the series when it was a new release and they remember wondering who was playing Dominic 'Dom'.  One of them said he had 'it', and she started watching for his name in other productions.  The entire mini-series is very good, and Russell in addition to playing guitar also dances in it.  Well worth looking for, it shows a young developing talent, with a lot of potential.
