AUDE is a non-governmental organization created in Abidjan in September 1991. It was recognized a public utility by decree n°96-315 on April 24, 1996.
OBJECTIVES:
- to make accessible a better quality of life for the ivorian people;
- AUDE is involved in the creation and implementation of social, sanitary, agricultural, and cultural programs.
ACTIVITIES IN PROGRESS:
- creation of food banks in Côte d'Ivoire;
- implementation of a project entitled "Information, Education, Communication" (I.E.C.) in the domain of reproductive health;
- distribution of school books and grants to encourage the education of 5000 girls.
COMMUNICATION:
- access to a better quality of life requires a different and new mentality. AUDE therefore makes use of the magazine "Bien Etre" (Well-being) and of the FM radio station Women's Solidarity Radio for the education of the population, as well as an internet site in English and French.
