The Elements
EARTH
Earth's time is Midnight, and season is Winter. Colors that are associated with earth are black,
brown, and dark green. The earth tools/symbols are the stone, pentacle, disc, and pentagram.
Earth's elemental forms are that of gnomes and trolls, and it's animals are bull, stag, bison, and
mouse. The Elemental King is Ghob, and the Elemental Ruler is Kerub. Places associated with
earth are caves, mountains, forests, and caverns. Earth is our grounding element, it is feminine
and comes from the North. The Earth signs are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. Earth people
are practical an organized. They are family and home oriented and they are happiest when
they are at home among their family. They are also very cautious it takes time to become an
Earth signs friend, but once you do, you have a loyal friend for life. Incense and oils: Patchouli,

alters or ritual areas and are good as offerings. Any variety of grain or ivy can also be used in
a similar manner. Apples make excellent offerings especially for vernal equinox and Samhain
rites.
FIRE
Fire's time is noon, and season is Summer. Colors that are associated with fire are red, crimson,
orange, burgundy, and fusia. The tools associated with fire are the wand and staff. It's elemental
forms are that of firedrakes and salamanders, and it's animals are dragons, snakes, and lizards.
Fire's Elemental King is Djin, and it's Elemental Ruler is Seraph. Places that are associated with fire
are deserts, volcanoes, and dry plains. Fire rules: energy, heat, will, purification, inspiration,
passion, and desire. Fire comes from the South, is masculine and symbolizes energy. The Fire
signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Fire people are very passionate and intense. Fire people
also have quick tempers and although they get involved quickly in relationships they may not stay

AIR
Air's time is dawn, and season is Spring. Colors that are associated with air are pink, lavender,
yellow, white, and pastels. The tools associated with air are the athame, sword, and censor.
It's elemental forms are that of spirits and Sylphs, and it's animals are birds and gryphons. Air's
Elemental King is Paralda, and it's Elemental Ruler is Ariel. Places that are associated with air
are windswept hills, high mountain peaks,and towers. Air rules: the mind, knowledge, abstract
learning, theory, imagination, ideas, beliefs, beginnings, and rebirth. Air brings about our
creativity. Air is associated with our soul. Air comes from the East and is feminine. The Air
signs are Aquarius, Gemini, and Libra. Air people are good at theorizing and analyzing.
Because they are such rational people Air signs have a strong sense of justice. They make
goodleaders. Air people do sometimes have problems with commitments in relationships.

WATER
Water's time is twilight and season is Autumn. Colors that are associated with water are blue,
indigo, aqua, grey, and turquoise. The tools associated with water are the cauldron and chalice.
Water's elemental forms are that of Undines, and it's animals are dolphins, whales, fish, seals,
and sea-serpents. It's Elemental King is Necksa, and it's Elemental Ruler is Tharsis. Places that
are associated with water are oceans, rivers, lakes, marshes, pools, and rain-drenched lands.
Water rules: feelings, emotions, love, intuition, the sub-conscious mind, mystery, and fertility.
Water is feminine, comes from the West and symbolizes love and nurturing Water signs are
Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. Water people are emotionally sensitive and also very spiritual.
