Due to the capitalist economic sytem that we live in American and Canadian companies are forced to move their factories to third world’s where they can find labor that is unregulated, unorganized, and significantly cheaper. Because of capitalism's dog eat dog nature to survive you must do what ever it takes. By uprooting business and relocating in third world countries they are cutting costs dramatically and making millions of dollars more profit. The less that they pay their workers means there is more that they can keep for themselves. For example all of the money that Micheal Jordan gets paid for one Nike shoe endorsement is more than the combined yearly wages of all the third world NIKE slaves. As well Mr. Eisner of Disney makes more in one hour then a worker at one of his Haitian factories will make in 3 years. These are illistrations of the greed that has been bred by our sad economic system. These companies should not be allowed to commit such horrible business practices and it is up to the consumers (you and me) to put a stop to it. The rich find ways to get filthier and the poor have no choice but to dwindle.
