Everytime that you buy a product that has been made by multi-million-dollar corporations in third world sweat shops, you are saying that their oppression of the working force in these countries is ok to you. Every time that you put that piece of clothing on, you are saying that injustice means nothing to you. Every time that an employee from one of those sweat shops is fired, killed, abused, raped, or harassed...it is your fault. We must all decide to share the blame with every one of the millions of ignorant consumers out there. We must try to rectify the mistakes each of us have made. It should not only be done for our sake but more for the sake of those who live in unimaginable agony to produce these products. The same people who have to spill their blood and exchange their lives so that you can wear you brand new "Nike" sweatshirt. There is blood from an Indonesian slave all over your clothes. The people of Nicaragua’s blood is on the bottom of your new shoes. Guatemala’s starving children have shed blood all over your boyfriends jacket. You ignorance will never wash the blood off of your clothes and will definitely never wash out of the lives of the thousands of people who suffered to supply you with these items. The only way to wash this blood away is by refusing to buy the product. Take a stand and say “NO!”

If you we to ignore the following facts you would be proving not only to yourself but to the rest of the world that you are the epitome of ignorant. The following links will inform you of the devastating atrocities that specific companies have carried out for the sole purpose of expanding their already huge bank accounts yet even further. These are not the only companies that do it... they are only the ones that I have the resourses to expose. If after hearing this case you continue to wear or buy these companies products, the multi-million dollar oppressive corporations win yet again. But if, however, you find that these companies actions are unethical and unexcusable I streniously urge you to act upon that judgment and do the right thing...BOYCOTT their product. Win a point for the people of the oppressed nations and win one for yourself. Be a better person.
