We are very thankful to Randy and Leslie for letting us buy Life. His genetics are packed with proven, nationally competitive animals. Noteworthy is full brother to Nixon's Luminayr - 4 X National Champion. Lyric was 1st in her class at the Nationals(I think 2 Yr Old Class) the same year her dam Goldenlark was National Champion. Life himself is very WIDE, LONG AND LEVEL. We only had 2 daughters out of him this year (Bobbi Jo and Billi Jean). Billi Jean is truly gorgeous. She is huge, even though she was a May baby. She is WIDE, TALL and very well put together, going ,u>1st in her class both times shown. Bobbi Jo is extremely wide, but not as tall as her sister. Rod is basically the foundation buck of our herd. We were very sad when we had to put him down with a severe leg break, just before the fall of 2003, at age 8. His last live bred daughter in our herd is Pearl Valley Golden Dedza, who is typical of the beautiful Rod daughters. Rod was EXTREMELY CORRECT AND BEAUTIFUL! He was SUPER LONG, TALL, LEVEL, WIDE, STYLISH AND CORRECT, WITH EXCELLENT FEET AND LEGS. He was a blast to show because he knocked your eyes out. Obsession is was a phenominal buck. We lost him to urinary calculi about the time we were beginning to see what his fantastic daughters were like. We will continue using him AI tough!! He has 3 GCH daughters and one with 2 GCH legs that will most likely finish in 2003 (Lavender). These 4 daughters have had incredible LA scores also. (Updated 12/1/06) We have admired Hollywood's dam Elonda ever since we first saw here when she topped the 1999 National Show yearling milker class in Sacramento, CA. After seeing pictures of the Golden Laser daughters I was even more intrigued by this buck. We used Hollywood AI in 2004 and when I saw how his daughter (Pearl Valley HH Rapunzel) freshened this year as a yearling, I jumped at the opportunity to purchase Hollywood from Tina Antes (Thanks Tina!). He improved fore udder, teat placement and medial suspensory ligament dramatically. We have used him quite a bit this year as I like what I have seen and I like his confirmation. Hollywood is INCREDIBLY LONG AND LEVEL!! He also has very good stature and a VERY DEEP BODY!! He is very sharp in the withers. Overall a VERY HANDSOME BUCK! His daughter Rapunzel went RGCH at one show as a yearling and is an extremely nice doe, who you can see under our "American Sr. Does".
