A group of super-powered mutants are targeted for assimilation by the alien technocracy collective known as the Phalanx. A small group of X-Men race against time to rescue the targeted mutants. In the end the sacrifice of the mutant teleporter Blink turns the tide to victory. Bound together by their shared experiences the teens join forces as Generation X.
