Judgement: After accidently killing a demon protecting a pregnant woman, a guilt-ridden Angel is compelled to defend her and her child from demonic bounty hunters and an ancient, mysterious tribunal.
Are You Now or Have You Ever Been?: Angel Investigates an abandoned hotel possessing an unsavory past and dark, mysterious presence. However this is more than a job for Angel, its a homecoming. The action shifts between presant-day and 1952 L.A revealing both the hotels history and Angel's past.
First Impressions: Gunn requests Angel's help in finding a killer demon named Deevak, but a violent vision moves Cordelia to rush to Gunn's rescue, much to his dismay. Meanwhile, Angel does his own subconscious bonding with Darla who keeps appearing in his dreams.
Untouched: Unaware of Lilah's plans to cultivate her as an assassin, Angel offers to help a runaway who possesses uncontrollable telekenitic powers. Darla also continues to visit Angel in his sleep.

Dear Boy: Angel finally meets Darla outside his dreams and she kicks the mind games into full gear, causing Cordelia and Wesley to worry about Angel's sanity. As they prepare for an evil Angel, his obsession for finding Darla lands him right into her trap.
Guise Will be Guise: Since Angel's out of town Wesley poses as him when a power businessman demands Angel's services to protect his daughter. Meanwhile, Angel gets in touch with his inner selves with a trip to a swami, but not everythings Zen.
Darla: As Darla struggles to sort out her identity, Angel feels it is important to find out where Wolfram & Hart are hiding her. As flashbacks reveal Darla and Spike's re-birth as vampires and Angels early defiance of The Master.
The Shroud of Rahmon: Angel and Gunn go undercover to foil the thief of a demonic burial shroud, unaware that the evil garment makes people psychotic. Cordelia and Wesley rush to save them before the effects take hold.

The Trial: After Darla discovers she is terminally ill, Angel enters a series of mysterious trials in attempt to save her life, the downside is it could kill both of them.
Reunion: Drusilla's in town and Darla is about to cut a new set of teeth. In a last ditch effort to save her soul Angel tries to find Darla before she awakens as a vampire. He finds the right place, but is foiled at the last minute by Drusilla. She and Darla make a clean, but seperate getaways leaving Angel no choice but to hunt them down. Meanwhile Drusilla makes her presance felt and Wolfram & Hart where a confused Darla has a bone to pick with her new mother.
Redefinition: After fireing Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn, Angel takes on the fight himself, and kills most of Wolfram & Hart. Darla and Drusilla form a gang who are defeated by Angel with the help of Cordelia, Gunn and Wesley. Angel sets fire to Darla and Drusilla but they manage to escape. Angel again regains his control and reason, but doesn't rejoin his friends in the good fight.
Blood Money: Cordelia, Wesley and Gunn start fighting on their own as Angel delves deeper into Wolfram & Hart affairs. He is drawn to a shelter and finds underhand dealings going on.
