Smooth
Stefan had the charms to woo a woman. He had plenty of years of practice to do
it. Tonight, he was going out to a cocktail party. He was going to need a date.
The man straightened up his tie. He slicked back his hair. Stefan grinned to
himself in the mirror and smiled.
“Show time,” he said to himself. Stefan turned and walked out of the bathroom.
He already knew which girls to focus on. Today, there were only three that he
had on the brain. Lara, Ivana, and Tania. He had a woman that he wanted in mind,
but he was free to flirt around with other women. These threes were sixes in his
eyes.
“Always go for the sixes and sevens,” Stefan always said. And with that, off he
went.
-Lara-
Stefan found Lara at her desk at reception. She had long red hair tied back into
a ponytail today. The busty twenty-something woman looked up while on the phone.
Lara glanced up at him. Stefan walked up with a smile on his face. He leaned on
her desk as he waited. Lara perked up and gave him a wink. Stefan smiled and
wiggled his eyebrows. He had time before he had to get back to work.
“Thank you, have a good day,” Lara said over the phone. She hung up and turned
her attention to the tall, blonde man.
“Good morning, gorgeous,” Stefan said.
“Hello, Stefan,” Lara said. How long have they known each other? Three years
now? It was all the same to him.
“Hey, are you doing anything this evening?” he asked.
“Not much,” she said. “Why do you ask?” Stefan stood up with a little smirk on
his face.
“I might go,” he said. “But only if I see your pretty face there too.” Lara
stood blushing. Stefan winked and walked into the main part of the building.
He’s dangled the bait. Now, he just needed to wait.

-Ivana-
Lovely Ivana. She worked at the desk next to his. Stefan walked into the office
area. More people had come in since he first stepped into the bathroom. Nikita
was at his desk typing away on his computer. They hadn’t seen the boss yet.
Stefan looked at the desk next to his. Sure enough, he spotted Ivana white
blonde bob at her computer. She hadn’t had her coffee yet. Stefan smirked to
himself.
Perfect.
Stefan straightened up his tie and walked over to the coffee cart. He memorized
Ivana’s order. Italian blend with almond milk and cinnamon. Perfect. She was
going to love this. Stefan closed the lid of the coffee and walked over to his
coworker.
Ivana was typing away on her computer when she noticed a cup being pushed next
to the mouse. She turned to see Stefan knelt over her.
“Morning,” he said.
“Oh,” she said. “Thank you.” His coworker took a drink of her coffee. Stefan sat
down at his desk. He looked at her lilac painted nails to the white cup. She
always kept her nails trimmed and painted.
“How are you?” he asked.
“Good,” she said. “And you?”
“Great,” Stefan said. He leaned back in his chair.
“Thinking about going to the party tonight,” he said. “Maybe I will get to see
you there?” Ivana blushed and cleared her throat. He kept his eye contact on
her. That was one key that was often looked over. Always make eye contact with
the ladies that he desired. Showed that you were serious about them. Ivana
picked up her coffee and took a drink. Stefan chuckled to himself.
“I will take that as a maybe,” he said.
Gets them every time,
he thought. Stefan got straight to work on his own computer.
----------
-Tania-
This was one going to take some patience. Tania was the secretary of their boss.
Because of this, he had her busy for most of the morning. Stefan kept glancing
up at the door to the boss’ office. The best time to catch The fiery redhead was
when she was on her way to lunch. He couldn’t just dart up and run after her
once she stepped out into the main office. No, he needed to be smooth about it.
“Hey Ivana,” he said.
“Uh-huh?” his coworker asked.
“Somehow, the numbers aren’t adding up on the report. Can I see you to compare
and find out what I’m not doing right?” Stefan asked.
“Sure,” Ivana said. Stefan leaned in for a look.
Around lunchtime, the boss’ office door opened. Stefan glanced over to see Tania
walking out. A heavenly light seemed to shine around her as she stepped out. Her
long red ponytail swayed back and forth as she moved her head. Her dress suit
looked so dull but showed off her figure. Even with the glasses she looked cute.
She held her lunchbox by her side. All of the boys in the office couldn’t stop
staring at her. Hell, even some of the women were looking at her.
She started to walk past Stefan’s office. He and Stefan only shared a brief
glance at each other. Tania mouthed only one thing at him.
“Meet me in the lounge.”
Tania headed out in the hall. Stefan gave her about five minutes before he made
his move. He stretched his arms over his head.
“I’m going on my break,” he said. “I’ll be right back.”
“Okay,” Ivana said. Stefan got up and followed after his last prize of the day.
He found Tania waiting in the lounge, sitting on the couch with her lunchbox on
her lap. She looked up with a little smile on her face.
“Missed me?” she asked. Stefan smiled as he closed the door behind him.
“How have you been?” he asked. Tania flashed him a flirty little smile.
“Fine,” she said. “And you?”
“Great,” Stefan said. “Much better now that I’m with you.” He sat down and took
a seat next to her on the couch. The pair shared a little flirty smile before
lunch began.
