After being apprehended by Spider-Man, the Green Goblin, Dr. Octopus, Sandman, Electro and Kraven the Hunter were being held in a S.H.I.E.L.D. containment center. All five have a chip on their shoulder towards Spider-Man, but none as big as Norman Osborn's. Trying to repeat the process that made Peter Parker the Amazing Spider-Man, Norman Osborn turned himself into the monstrous Green Goblin. Norman began to obsess over Peter, seeing him as a more worthy son than his actual son, Harry.
Now the worst has happened as all five have escaped with two things on their minds: revenge and Spider-Man. While Nick Fury took the Ultimates to search for them, the villains attacked and destroyed the Ultimates' stronghold, the Triskelion, and kidnapped Peter. Norman blackmails Peter into joining his cause or he will kill his Aunt May and his girlfriend, Mary Jane Watson.
The Ultimates finally tracked them down on the White House lawn! After a brutal struggle which has devastated both sides, S.H.I.E.L.D. brings in its last ace into play...the Son of Norman Osborn, the Green Goblin...Harry Osborn.
